I am thinking about purchasing either of these palm gsm devices, question I have is can you use the pda function of the device without a sim card in it? I dont need it for the phone use most of the time anyway.
You can use the device like a PDA without service, yes. I.e., you can use the calendar and contacts, etc. If the phone won't operate without a SIM, you can always use a blank SIM in it instead, just to get it working and not have service on the SIM card. I hope this helps. Thanks. DebiN
