Cellular Phones/Recovering Memory

Question
I have a Samsung t429 with T-Mobile. Yesterday morning I woke up to discover that my dog had chewed up my phone. The phone is destroyed, but the SIM card is intact as well as the space beneath the battery and the back bottom part of the phone. I put the SIM card into another T-Mobile phone and discovered that while some information transferred to the new phone including recent text messages, myfaves information, and voice notes; most of my phone contacts, calendar information, notes, text messages (including drafts), and pictures (both pictures taken by the phone and pictures sent from another phone) were not listed on the new phone. I assume that the information I seek is in the internal memory on the destroyed phone (I did not have an external memory card).  Is it possible that the information on the destroyed phone is intact and if so, how can I access the information that I seek? Thank you for your consideration in this matter.

Answer
I so wish that the information on the destroyed phone could be retrieved, but unfortunately, if you can't turn on the phone, you can't retrieve the information. You are correct that your missing information is on the old phone and the information that is on there would be too large to fit onto your SIM card (which has very little storage space). If you have a phone with an SD memory card, only your pictures, saved texts could be stored to it, but you won't be able to store contacts or calendar info. This all has to be on the phone itself (though contacts can be saved to your SIM). I am so sorry that this phone got destroyed without you having a backup and I really wish there was a way to retrieve the info, but I'm afraid that there isn't. I hope this helps. Thanks. DebiN
