Sir I have purchased today a micro Sd card of 2GB for my mobile phone, but the space that it shows after inserting it in my mobile phone is just around 1881 Mb, I wonder where the other 167 Mb are eaten away, is this a fare deal??

Answer
Yes, it is a fair deal. Your device uses a certain amount of the memory for information and memory cards are "approximately" the size that they say. 167MB is not very much memory and this header information allows your phone to be able to read the card. I hope this helps. Thanks. DebiN
