Cellular Phones/Amplification

Question
I have navigated many site for the answer to my question, but unfortunately, I think it is that I don't really know how to express this situation with a few keywords.  My question is in regards to the amplification of the ringtone.  I want to know if there is a cellular phone that sends its ring to the earphone jacke so one could use an external amplifier and, for example, put his cellular in the livingroom and hear it from another place in the house? Thank you in advance.  I have a Blackberry Curve that I really enjoy, but according to their tech, no such luck with that phone.  Is this a difficult thing to ask?

Answer
I believe that you expressed what you are looking for very well in your question to me. As of today, I am not aware of any type of ringtone amplification that would allow you to hear your Curve in another room (if you can't hear it today). What you might want to consider is to use a bluetooth headset or bluetooth car speaker (the type you clip onto your sun visor on your car). If you pair the bluetooth speaker to your Curve and then put the bluetooth speaker in the other room (provided they are within the 30 foot bluetooth range), this should solve your problem. If the range is more than 30 feet then you would just be better off putting the Curve in a holster and carrying it with you wherever you go in the house. I hope this helps and let me know. Thanks.
