Cellular Phones/Blocking numbers

Question
I have 2 iPhones 3G with AT&T. Can I block a number from one of the phones without the user of the phone finding out?

Answer
You can block your number by going into General Settings, Phone and then going to Show My Caller ID and turning it to Off. If no one tells the user that his number is blocked when he calls them or if he doesn't go into the settings to see if for himself, he will never know that you set it up for the number to be blocked. If you block your own caller ID and call someone, they will see that the number that called them is Private, so they will know the caller ID is blocked. What is it that you are wanting to do exactly? Perhaps I can help you figure it out, if this doesn't properly answer your question. Thanks. DebiN
