Question
My daughter's screen has gone blank and we had to replace the phone.  I'd like to erase all of her information before moving the old phone along, but I can't figure out where the "magic button" is.  I have another identical phone that I could use to see what I'm doing (as in... scroll down 2, push ok, etc.), but if there were one place to reset everything it would much easier.  I saw a similar question asked about the same phone and tried to follow the instructions for a reboot but it didn't work. I appreciate you in advance!!

Answer
You would need to do a master reset on the phone to erase it, but if you can't see the screen, even though you have another one to follow along, it still may not work properly. And if you can't see the screen, then you really wouldn't know if it were done properly or not, unfortunately. My best advice is to destroy the phone versus move it along. It's broken, so it won't be of any use to anyone and you would be better off just destroying it then giving it to someone else who would have to pay money to repair it anyway and old cell phones are not worth repairing. I hope this helps. Thanks. DebiN
