Question
My parents are on verizon.  Basic user - no texting, mobile web, camera, etc.  Just calls and receive calls.  Currently have an old Motorola Razr and like it.  Its thin, the keys are big, Holds a charge for a couple days with their amount of use.  Mom dropped in the washer and killed it.  What would be a good replacement phone that is $20 or less with a 2 year renewal.  Thanks for your time.

Answer
All of the phones that Verizon is offering for free or up to $20.00 would be a good choice with a 2 year renewal. All of the phones today are much more robust and even though she doesn't need all the bells and whistles, they all come with them. Since she had a Razr and liked it, you may want to consider sticking with Motorola. They currently have the Motorola Rival for free and the Motorola Entice. If she doesn't happen to like either of these Motorola phones, then the LG VX5500. I would recommend one of the Motorolas since she had that previously and it's easier to stay with the same brand if you liked it. The Entice has a bit better ratings than the Rival, but both are good. Your best bet is to go into the store and handle the phones with her to see what she likes best. I hope this helps. Thanks.
