Question
QUESTION: I just got a LG Xenon GR500 for AT&T. My friend is trying to send me pictures from a Verizon Blackberry Curve. I cant get the messages. I don't even get a message. Nothing comes to my phone at all so its not like I'm getting the message and cant download. I have unlimited data and messaging. What do I do?!

ANSWER: You may want to give AT&T customer care a call and make sure that MMS messaging is enabled on your account. I'm not sure which plan you have for data, but you may just have the unlimited text messaging plan ($20.00) a month or a data unlimited plan ($30.00 a month). MMS messaging is included in some bundles, but you want to be sure what you actually have provisioned. It's possible that MMS may be blocked, so contact AT&T and they can help you. If you recently changed carriers, that could be a problem also. Is your friend able to send you text messages? If MMS isn't blocked on your account and your friend can send you a text, then they can send you an MMS. Let me know. Thanks. DebiN

---------- FOLLOW-UP ----------

QUESTION: Well I went to the AT&T store today and there are no blocks on my phone and mms is included. We also concluded that I can receive mms from Verizon phones just not hers. I can get texts from her. I guess my follow up question is why is her phone not able to send mms to me? She was able to send me pictures when I was on Sprint. Sometimes her texts don't reach me or I receive 4 copies of the same text. I'm not sure if that helps but it happened while I was on sprint as well.

Answer
Thanks for this info. This helps a lot. What I would recommend is that she delete you from her address book entirely. Then, send her an MMS message and have her re-add you into her contact list. It is very likely that she still has you associated with Sprint for MMS and that's why they are not reaching you. If you completely deletes you and then re-adds you back, this issue should go away. None of this would have anything to do with you or your carrier, it is an issue with her that can be resolved this way. I hope this helps. Thanks. DebiN
