Question
I'm looking to combine my old clam phone and my palm zire 72 into one convienent unit. Motorola service center near me suggested buying a refurbed T-Mobile Wing with a 180 day warranty. They say I would enjoy working with windows mobile 6 and can sync it to my outlook on my main computer with Vista so everything stays backed up. They say I would be able to talk and text on my existing prepaid sim card while enjoying windows even without web service. Are they right or just trying to sell me a bill of goods?
They are correct that you can buy a refurbished Wing (SmartPhone) and use it for voice and text with your prepaid SIM and be able to use Windows Mobile 6 for contacts, calendar, and synching with Outlook, but you will not be able to use MMS (picture messaging) or access the internet or use email. That is correct. You can actually buy any T-Mobile branded SmartPhone and do the same thing. Please let me know if you need any additional information. Thanks. DebiN
