Question
Hi - I have a BlackBerry 8330 full of my contacts in the Address Book. I now have a new Samsung u450 phone with a new providor and would like to have my contacts on the Samsung populated with the Address Book from the BB. How can I achieve this?

Many thanks,
Tony

Answer
Take both the old BlackBerry and the new Samsung to your new carrier and ask them to transfer your contacts for you. They likely have the equipment in their stores to do this and will typically do it without charge for new customers. Some carriers charge $10.00 for this, but that's the most you would need to pay. However, there are programs and hardware available to do this if you want to spend the money and do it yourself. You can buy them at Costco or Best Buy or Fry's. The package consists of a dongle that has different connectors for different devices and software that you load onto your PC. This will allow you to move contacts from one phone to another easily. It typically costs around $30.00. I hope this helps. Thanks. DebiN
