Question
QUESTION: I have a old Treo 680 (by tech standards)that I am replacing with a iPhone 3Gs. What is the easiest way to get my 800+ contacts and my calander events transfered to the iPhone? Thanks so much!

ANSWER: The easiest way to do this is to make sure that all your contacts are in Outlook (synch the Treo to Outlook and make sure that they are all there) and then when you start up your iPhone, you will synch it with Outlook so that all of the contacts are on the new iPhone. The other way to do this is once you have the iPhone activated, take the iPhone and Treo to AT&T and have them help you move the contacts. They have a machine that can help you do this also. I hope this helps. Thanks. DebiN

QUESTION: Thank you very much for such a quick response! I have a Mac with OS 10.5 (not snow). How would I do this via the Mac? Thanks again.

Answer
Sorry for the delay in responding back to you. I've been without a computer for a few days. Anyway, you will need a conduit for the MAC that works wiht the Palm and then once you have the contacts on your MAC, they can easily be synched to the new iPhone. I personally, however, would chose to have AT&T do this for you because they have the tools to do this if you ask them when you buy the iPhone (or even after you have bought it). They can definitely help you at an AT&T corporate store. I hope this helps. Thanks. DebiN
