Question
Hi there!Someone is selling me a 2nd hand nokia n80 at a low price coz he aldy bought a new phone,it is still in excellent condition..i just want to know your opinion, is it still ok to use this model nowadays?i meaN, does it not look funny since this has been released in 2006?

Answer
Nothing at all wrong with this model, provided you get the one that works where you live. There's an American version and a non-American version. It's hard to believe that a device that hasn't been sold since 2006 would be in excellent condition, but if the person who is selling it hasn't been using it for the past 2 or so years, it could be fine. If they have been using it since they bought it, it is very unlikely that it is in excellent condition and the battery definitely would be shot or close to shot, for sure.

If you feel that the device is in excellent condition, as long as you are not paying very much for it (I think $30.00 is too much, if you ask me), then it's a fine device. It's quad band and even works on the 1900 frequency for high speed download. Be careful also regarding the Symbian OS. It is likely that it can't be upgraded because it doesn't have enough internal memory to support the higher version of Symbian. If you leave it as it is, it's probably fine. Just like I said, don't pay very much for it. For the same money, you can buy a much newer better device. I hope this helps. Thanks. DebiN
