Cellular Phones/Texting

Question
QUESTION: I have an Iphone and AT&T service I live in Fla. My boyfriend has Samsung Code with Metro PCS and lives in NYC. He gets 80% of my text the other 20% he says are just little boxes.

ANSWER: Are these text messages or picture messages? It's likely about the type of message and possibly some of the messages you are sending have links or something in them that his phone or provider can't interpret. Where you live won't matter, but with him having MetroPCS, that may be the issue as they are not handling all of the texts properly. Does he have MMS capability on his phone? Can he send you MMS messages?

QUESTION: No picture messages just back and forth texting. It will work for 3 or 4 texts then he starts getting "little boxes" from me or 1/2 the message and boxes.

Answer
It's likely just Metro PCS. They probably are having trouble with volumes or something like that. I would suggest he contact them to see if they have any ideas. It's not you or your phone. It could also be the string. Try not keep replying to all the messages and sending some new ones instead and see if you get a different result.
