Cellular Phones/Virgin Mobile Billing Cycle?

Question
I got my Iphone 4 on September 24 and activated it through the phone. 3 days after which is September 27 i realized they gave me a wrong blackberry plan. I then went to the store and got switched it back to an Iphone plan. My Billing date started on September 27 but ends on October 26. This means i only got 29 days instead of 30 or 31, is this correct? Plus i have to pay my bill by October, 18, Is'nt this too early?

Answer
Okay, so your title "Virgin Mobile Billing Cycle" confused me, but I'm assuming you are talking about AT&T. If you bought an iPhone from AT&T, they would have had to have put an iPhone data plan onto your account, not a BlackBerry plan. It wouldn't have worked with a BlackBerry plan. But perhaps something else may have happened, and either way, here's how it works. Regardless of when you got the device, your billing cycle is not necessarily what you think. It's the same cycle regardless of when you purchase a new device. AT&T also bills in advance, not arrears, so the bill you just received is for October through November and it may have some proration for September 24th through the first cycle (or that could be on the next invoice if it's not on this one). The plan change won't affect anything, everything is prorated properly. The monthly price that you pay is prorated to the days you had it when it is not a full month and it doesn't matter how many days are in that month, it's all correctly prorated, I promise you. So, it's not too early and the plans were prorated properly, so I wouldn't worry in the least. At the end, if you choose to leave AT&T, since you are always paying in advance, if you live at the very beginning of a cycle, they will reimburse you for what you already paid, in other words, it always works out in the end. Hope this helps.
