how to change text messages ring tones and turn up sound on a SGH-A707 samsung att
Go into the Menu, Settings, Profiles and for the Normal profile (if that is the one that you are using and this is the Default), then go to Options and then Edit then New Messages and then change the Message Alert Type to be whatever you want for text messages. Within this area is also where you increase the default volume. 7 is the highest. All of this is on pages 75-75 of the manual which you can find on line by searching for SGH A707 user manual.
