Question
I have purchased a cell phone from China.  Supposed to work
on any GSM network, 850/900/1800/1900/MHZ.
Made by Chang Jiang MODEL: U5+   TV Mobile on the front.
IMEI 354015043028034
It is UNLOCKED.
I belong to TELUS in Canada and can't seem to get a SIM to
work in it.
Please help.

Answer
If the phone is not broken or damaged, your Telus SIM card will work in it. You should be able to make and receive calls and use text messaging. Nothing else will work unless you program your carrier's settings. If it doesn't work, then the device is likely defective or broken or unfortunately just a rip off. I would recommend returning it and getting your money back. FYI, please don't provide an IMEI when asking questions on line. It is not necessary to answer the question and that number is unique. I hope this helps and the best of luck to you and I hope you can return it and get your money back. I strongly recommend getting a phone that Telus sells and supports. That is your best bet.
