Question
QUESTION: Debin Hi,

Can you please help me, does anyone make a very simple
inexpensive Touch Screen phone. Im looking for one
that you can touch a logo which will give you instant access to someone else, an phone thats not complicated

Can you help me

thank you

Ken

ANSWER: Most phones these days aren't all that complicated. As far as a touchscreen goes, you can set most of them to have your contacts as icons on the front screen or can do a quick search. You may find it easier if you are just getting a standard phone to program your contacts on speed dial instead so you just have to press a number to access them. Most touch screen phones are SmartPhones and are not inexpensive and require data plans as well as voice plans. The first thing is who is your carrier? Once I know your carrier, then I can see what phones they offer and advise you from there. The carrier comes first then the phone. Hope this helps.

QUESTION: DebiN

Hi, I have Verizon pre-pay phone as the carrier, Im looking for something where I can just touch a picture of a person or there name, just one step.

thanks

Ken

Answer
The problem you are going to run into is that there are only a handful of prepaid phones available and none of them are free and none of them have a touchscreen. In order to get a touchscreen phone that works with Verizon service, you would need to switch to a post paid plan. If you decide to do that, there are about 6 phones that have a touchscreen. Some of them, like the LG's have a search feature where you can easily search for a contact from anywhere and then touch the contact to call them. What's more common is actually voice dialing (versus the touch screen) for one step dialing. Many phones have this. With prepaid and Verizon, you are going to be very limited to what you can use, I'm afraid.
