Cellular Phones/cell phone dropping calls

Question
I wrote to you twice prior to this note, regarding my Verizon Motorola cell phone dropping calls. You suggested that I could pick a phone and ask your opinion.I am seriously considering switching over to AT&T,as they offer "roll-over minutes",where Verizon just takes them away from me. AT&T also offers the Sony-Ericcsson W508i cell phone, which, according to 'user reviews',seems to be a pretty good phone. What's your take on it?

Answer
Rollover minutes are definitely a good thing and this is something that is unique to AT&T. The Sony Ericsson model you mentioned has a very good rating and is definitely a solid phone. I don't think you will go wrong with that phone. The good news is that you have 30 days to try out AT&T and the phone and if you are not happy with either, you are not on the hook. Also, AT&T's early termination policy for a standard phone is only $150.00 and that decreases by $4.00 a month for every month you have been on service (in the event you do decide to leave after the 30 days but before your term is up). SE phones have good battery life, good cameras and good antennas. I think you will like this.
