Cellular Phones/Samsung SCH R430 DISPLAY

Question
The displays on my Samsung sch-r430: went from working perfectly... to nothing but screwed up in a matter of minutes. The main display is now nothing but pure, bright and white; while the cover display is semi-illuminated and grayish.(The phone has not been dropped, immersed, or otherwise mishandled.) How or what can I do to remedy this?

Answer
When your screen goes white, it typically means that the display has gone out. This can happen suddenly and believe it or not, the display is one of the first things to go on a phone. I don't know how long your phone is, but if it is under 12 months old and you purchased it from your carrier, it is still under warranty and can be repaired or replaced. If it's older than 12 months and you are up for a upgrade, I would suggest getting a new device. If it is older than 12 months, but you aren't eligible for an upgrade, you may want to to take in for repair. Unfortunately, there really isn't anything that you can do yourself to repair it. I hope this helps. Thanks. DebiN
