Hi,
I have a spare cell phone that I will not be using indefinitely.  I would like to store it to use in the future, would I need to take the battery out of the cell phone to do this?

Answer
Yes! Take the battery out. Never store a cell phone that you are not using with the battery in it. The battery can leak and it is always better to store the battery separate. Very smart question and you just reminded me that I should be doing this with my vast collection of mobile devices. Thanks. DebiN
