Question
I have accumulated voice memos on this phone and when hot sync I never seem them listed, so they may not be capable of saving to computer.  This week I am to go to court to play those recordings to a judge as evidence of threats by my husband.  My whole case revolves around the violence captured.  Yesterday it slipped out of my hand &into a drop of coffee in his cup. i took out battery and dried it in rice.   Right now it turns on and says access powered  and then the palm logo comes on...then it shuts off.  Yesterday it didnt even do that...but Im giving up hope.  My entire future revolves around this and Im screwed now.  Please give me hope? thank you

Answer
How I so wish that I could say that you will be able to retrieve this information, however, I can't say that. You will not be able to retrieve anything from this phone as it has been unfortunately detroyed when dropped into the coffee. But here's the odd thing - there's no reason why a court case should hinge upon voice memos on your phone. That just doesn't make sense and in many courts of law, that type of evidence is not even admissible. I certainly hope that your future dos not revolve around this lost evidence. And if it helps to know, you can't sync voice memos so what you thought you were synching, unfortunately you were not. I wish you well with your case and hope that you have more evidence to support your case. Voice memos on a cell phone are not a smart thing, I'm afraid and I am so very sorry that they were lost to you. Thanks. DebiN
