Cellular Phones/Sprint blackberry to metropcs

Question
Hi i was wondering if i call sprint for my blackberry tour and report it stolen but it really isn't can I connect to metro the supposedly stolen one.

Answer
I'm afraid not. If you report it stolen, the ESN will be frozen out and your number cannot be ported to another carrier. If you could find someone to unlock and flash the device to MetroPCS, you still won't be able to port your number. Your best bet is simply to end your service with Sprint and port your number to MetroPCS and have your phone flashed to Metro. If you are under contract with Sprint, you will have to pay the early termination fees to do this. I hope this helps. Thanks. DebiN
