Cellular Phones/Teen security for cell phones

Question
I just bought my daughter her first cell phone, a Cricket MSGM8, so we have Cricket cell service. I saw on Fox news a few months ago a software one could use to only allow certain numbers your child can receive texts or calls from. It would also email the parent of any number trying to contact your child then allowing the parent to accept or block the number. Do you know the name or where I could get that software and if it would even work with what I bought my child.

Answer
The only parental control software that I could find only works on SmartPhones. http://www.parentalcontrolcellphones.com/ I also found Radar which only works on SmartPhones also. The reason that most of these packages only work on SmartPhones is that they require a Operating System to be installed upon like Windows Mobile or Symbian or BlackBerry, etc. I did some additional research on this in addition to what I already know and have not been able to find anything that can be downloaded onto a standard cell phone, only the SmartPhones. AT&T has SmartLimits, but it only works on AT&T phones and their service, and T-Mobile has KidConnect. I'm not aware of anything that Cricket has that would allow for this. Sorry that I didn't have better news for you on this one. Thanks. DebiN
