Cellular Phones/sim card tracking

Question
QUESTION: can you track a simcard (vodaphone)with the simcard number and phone number and the phone being turned on that has that simcard

ANSWER: You cannot track a SIM card. Not possible and cannot be done. The carrier can tell where a phone is by it's SIM card, IF it is on line and on the network. It is 100% impossible to track anything that is not on and communicating with the network. There's nothing in a SIM card that works on it's own. It works in conjunction with the phone only. The phone has to be on and communicating with the network. Only way, I promise. Thanks. DebIN

QUESTION: sorry thats what i meant i have the sim number and the phone number and the phone is active can i track it. (myself with a programe or with spy ware or through some other source.

ANSWER: No problem. Just know that when a phone is off, it is not trackable because it has no connectivity to the network. A phone has to be communicating in order to be located by anyone (whether through spyware, GPS, carrier's systems, etc.). I hope this helps. Thanks. DebiN

QUESTION: do you have a suggestion on the spyware i could track the phone in question, phone is a nokia6120classic,carrier is vodaphone, and i have the sim card no. and phone no. thanks.

Answer
You indicated that you had spyware and so I thought you were already doing this. I have never heard of spyware working and believe that it is really a scam. The only tracking programs that I am aware of that work properly are those that are legitimately set up for tracking individuals in business, i.e., drivers, etc. To my knowledge, you cannot set up spyware on a phone without that person's knowledge or with just a SIM card number, etc. I'm not aware of this being possible. Sorry if this isn't what you were looking for.
