Hello,
I am very stuck and was hoping you would help as other website are highly unhelpful and go into too much depth for my knowledge. I am currently interesed in a CDMA mobile from the USA. Me living in Europe am wondering, if the CDMA technology will work here as GSM seems to be global compared to CDMA. I am specifically interested in CDMA2000 1X 1900/800. But overall i guess my simple question is... DO CDMA MOBILES WORK IN THE UK?
It would be VERY VERY helpful and much appreciated if you got back to me ASAP. Thanks
CDMA devices do NOT work in the UK. CDMA technology and GSM technology are totally differently. However, WCDMA is not CDMA. Tell me the name of the device that you are interested in and I will tell you if it will work in the UK. If it is a device sold by Verizon or Sprint, it will not work for you in the UK, period.
