Cellular Phones/A Motorola Slvr L7 that only works on speakerphone

Question
Hello! I have a Motorola Slvr L7 (my wireless carrier is AT&T). Most of it's funcitions work just fine, however when I got a broken screen and outside casing I purchased new housing for the phone through an ebay site and watched an online tutorial how to disassemble the phone and put all the pieces back together without completely breaking it to pieces. Upon it's reassembly however there must have been a step I didnt follow or a problem I enocuntered because now the phone will answer calls just fine, however I can't hear the person calling unless the phone is set to speakerphone. The person on the other end of the line can hear me fine, but I'm not sure what has gone wrong in the phone. Any idea how to remedy this problem?

Answer
I am not a fan of do-it-yourself fixing of cell phones and don't have any idea on how to fix your problem and would strongly recommend just buying a new phone before you cost yourself anymore money fixing an old phone. What you didn't do correctly was connect the wires that control the internal speaker and that's why you can only use the speakerphone. I wish that I could help more, but unfortunately cell phone repair is not my forte. Thanks. DebiN
