Question
I want to update my Nokia 2600 phone from AT&T. If I purchase a refurbished phone, can I place the Nokia SIM card from my existing phone into the refurbished phone and it will work? Would purchasing a refurbished phone from AT&T extend my 2 year contract another 2 years? Which cell phone is your recommendation when taking into account screen size, user friendliness, and wanting to talk, text, and check/send email?  Thank you.

Answer
Yes, your SIM will work in the refurbished phone without issue. No, your contract will not be extended by 2 years if you purchase a refurbished phone. Verify this with AT&T before you do it. It will tell you if you have to extend, but you shouldn't have to. I don't recommend any particular phones because there are so many variables and everyone has different preferences. Personally though, I'd get a new phone with a new 2 year agreement so that I could get the latest and greatest and one that no one ever used. It comes with a 12 month warranty and even if I cancelled early, the early cancellation fee is less than what I would have paid without the 2 year agreement (full price for the phone). Nokia's are good phones, though there are many others just as good with more features and functionality. There's currently a 6350 Nokia that's very good. I hope this helps. Thanks. DebiN
