Cellular Phones/international calling

Question
I wanted to know if while in the UK callers will hear the international ring tone dialing when calling me? And when i return calls will my name and number appear to them?

Answer
When someone calls you, they are calling your number wherever you are. Your carrier is using the international network to transfer your call to you, but the caller likely will not hear an international tone. When you return a call, your US number will display because you are calling from your phone. You aren't using another number, so they will see your phone number when you call them wherever you are. Just be aware that when someone calls you, you will be paying international roaming charges and it will cost the same when you call them back. In the UK, it will likely be a minium of $.99 a minute - more if you don't have a discounted monthly roaming feature. I hope this helps. Thanks.DebiN
