Cellular Phones/local network is not available on Moto V9x

Question
I bought a Motorola V9x from Motorolas online store.  They advertized it as being an unlocked GSM.  I work on a military base in Afghanistan and all my friends have different models of GSM phones that pick up the local GSM network ROSHAN.  For some reason that I don't understand is why my phone will not Pick up the same Network.  I am using the same ROSHAN SIM card that I used in my last phone Moto razor V6.  What can I do to make my phone work over here?

Answer
The phone is a quad band GSM phone and if unlocked, it should definitely work with your Roshan SIM card. If it doesn't, I would contact Motorola and let them know that it is not working and find out from them if there is something additional you need to do. You shouldn't have to do anything and it should work without issue. Have you tried using someone else's SIM in your phone or your SIM in someone else's phone? This should at least tell you if the issue is your SIM or your phone. If your phone works with someone else's SIM, then your SIM is the issue. If it doesn't, then it's the phone. I hope this helps.
