A friend of mine gave me her old sprint instinct for my Birthday, but I do not want to have sprint [I don't want a contracted bill] so I'm very interested in "virgin Mobile" [a prepaid company] and i know sprint company sort of owns it, can i activate this phone with VIRGIN MOBILE?
Take the phone into a Virgin store and ask them if they can flash it to Virgin. If they say that they can, then they can do this for you. If they say they can't, then don't try to get someone else to do it. It's always worth a try. Keep in mind that it may not fully work properly if flashed. I'm not sure how you got this without a contract, so do be careful to make sure that it is a device that can actually be activated. I hope this helps. Thanks. DebiN
