Question
We have At&t and we have the 3G network. My husband has the Iphone and all i have some samsung thing. I want a LG Chocolate 2G... i do not have the internet on my phone n i dont want it. All i want is to text and talk. Will it still work?

Answer
When you are an AT&T subscriber, you don't necessary use the 3G network. It's based on where you live, what type of device you have, etc. It's not really about 2G and 3G, it's just about service. There's not a phone called the LG Chocolate 2G, but there is a Chocolate that works on the GSM network and one that works on the CDMA network. The Chocolate that works on the GSM network is only tri-band and you will not be able to use this properly with AT&T. I strongly recommend that you do not buy this phone. If you want a new phone, please only buy one that is for the AT&T network. Even if you don't buy it from AT&T (though if you are eligible for an upgrade, there's no reason not to buy from them since you will get the device cheaper and it will be under warranty for 12 months), but if you aren't eligible and just want a new phone, please only buy a phone that AT&T sells or sold. Don't but an unlocked phone off of the internet. That will be a big mistake, I can assure you. Even if you don't want to use the internet, still don't do it. You won't even be able to send and receive picture messages. I hope this helps. Thanks. DebiN
