Question
A number has been blocked from my cell phone and the person is not allowed to call me.  When i call a&tt they are not allowed to help me because i don't have the security code for our account. Is there a way i can unblock the number without having to call at&t?

Answer
My guess is that the person with the security code for your account blocked the number and they don't want anyone else to unblock it. That is the reason why AT&T won't allow you to unblock the number, because you are not authorized on the account. My suggestion is to either convince the person you owns the account to allow you to have this person call you again (and unblock the number) or understand that as long as you have your cell phone number and that person calls you from the number that has been blocked, you won't be able to receive the calls. Absolutely no way to unblock it without AT&T. Have you tried having your friend dial *67 before they dial you to see if that will go through? *67 blocks the number from the carrier and I can't say for 100% certain, but I have a feeling that should bypass the block of the number. Let me know. Thanks. DebiN
