Thanks for the answer. But still a bit confused. If i unlock the iphone oe droid, thats the only way i could use them on my metro account? Also apps on iphone and droid are diffrent? Can one app be for both phones? Im intrested in iphone developing but dont have a phone that i can use for apps. Thats why im asking these questions. I got a metro but want the luxury or iphone or droid with this service.. Can you help with coding??
some app developers have made their apps for both the iphone and droid platforms. if you unlock one of those phones, i'm unsure how you would get the apps. it's my understanding that unlocked iphones will again lockup when synced with itunes. for the droids, i'm not sure how their apps would relate to an unlocked device. I'm sorry i cannot help with coding. sad to say, i'm not even sure what exactly that involves. unlocking the phones would also clear the text and internet settings that come built into the phones when cell carriers get them. so getting metro's settings into the phones would be a task as well.
