Cellular Phones/Nokia 1006 problem

Question
OK, so I have the Nokia 1006 from Metro PCS. I absolutely loved it until about a year ago when the screen started getting all weird. Like everything would be diagnal and looked like it was cut into little strips. So I went to my local MetroPCS and they guy said it was probably the battery, so he just gave me a new battery for free. Then a few months later, the little battery bar on the screen started moving like it was charging when it wasn't even plugged in. So I went to the store again and they told me to buy a new charger. Everything was fine then until I got my phone taken away and got it back 7 1/2 months later. I tried turning it on but it wouldn't so I figured the battery was drained and dead. So I put it on the charger and the screen just turned white, then black, white, and black again. So I had my previous battery on hand and switched the two. 1 month later, I'm sitting here typing this to see if maybe I can save my parents a trip into town. I'm 13 so I'm desperate to get my phone working again. About 20 minutes ago, the screen went wacko then turned white. So I turned it off then tried to turn it back on. All I got was a white screen. So I waited a few minutes and tried again. The same thing happened. So now I ask you, what is going on with my phone?

Answer
Unfortunately, the problem with your phone is that it needs to be replaced. It's not the battery or the charger, it's actually the phone. What you are seeing is the slow demise of your screen display. You can't fix it and the very best thing to do is to try to convince your parents to get you a new phone. This will keep happening until one day, the phone just will have a white screen always. Cell phones have a life of roughly 2-3 years. With heavy usage, you are lucky to get 2 years out of the phone. It's definitely the phone, not battery or charger that needs to be replaced, I promise.
