Cellular Phones/Palm Pre Ringtone Problem

Hi my name is Adriana Carrillo and I've been experiencing some problems with my Palm Pre from Sprint. Such as when people call me I am not able to hear my ringtone even though it isn't on silent. Although I can only hear my ringtone when it is a text message but not on a phone call. What can I do to fix this problem?
Make sure that you have that ringtone set to ring when you get a call. It sounds like it is only set for the text messages, not the calls. If you can hear anything, then the ringtone is not the issue unless the actual ringtone doesn't work with calls. Typically, you can use the same ringtone for a call and a text even though the text ring is shorter. Doublecheck the settings to make sure that the ringtone is set for calls. Also, try using a different ringtone for your calls to see if that works. If it does, then the error is with your first ringtone, which you won't be able to fix and not with your phone.
