Question

Palm Treo 700wx
I have a small inventory of unbranded Palm Treo 700wx phones. They have No Logo and come in a Palm Retail Box. I have had a real problem getting these to work on ANY CDMA Network. I can't understand why these will not activate? Verizon as well as many of the other Networks tell me the ESN's are coming up "Not Found" or that they can't activate Phones that don't have their Logo or Retail Box. This is very frustrating. I can't for the life of me understand why Palm would manufacture these unbranded phones if NO ONE can activate them??? Any help on this issue would be much appreciated. Can these phones even be used, or are they worthless? They are NEW Phones by the way too. Thank you

Answer
In order for Verizon to activate these devices, they would have to add their ESNs to their inventory list. Evidently, they have chosen not to do this. I'm not sure why Palm has unbranded CDMA devices, but I'm sure that the intent was to be able to activate them with Sprint or Verizon since they sold these devices. I would contact Palm and ask them how you are supposed to get these activated and I feel pretty certain that they will be able to assist you. Thanks. DebiN
