Question
I have a Motorola mod V365 and unable to assign individual ringtones to numbers on phone  The book instructions do not work
the ringtones are stored on both phone and sim card.  A friend of mine had them assigned and they worked for approx a year and all of a sudden they quit
I can play the ringtones but cannot assign them
Please help

Answer
You can only assign a ringtone to a person who's number is stored on your phone. You cannot assign a ringtone to someone stored on your SIM card. Try assigning a ringtone to someone stored on your phone and as long as the ringtone is compatible with your carrier and phone, I guarantee it will work. If it's ringtone that you copied to your phone and was used with another type of phone previously, it won't work on this device. I hope this helps.
