Question
I have a iphone 3g which has been in no ones hands but mine. I have been stalked by someone obsessed by me... He knows where I am as shows up and seems to know what i said to someone in room I am in even though not on phone etc..

Trying to fix this... Iphone give me a new phone with new number... but same sim card... I am worried if hacked the first phone can do this again...
wondering if I can get a prepaid mobile by unlocking a old samsung phone from Sprint... and attaching minutes or even using the iphone sim card if that is not problem ?  I appreciate your help as i have talked to AT&T much about this problem and of course apple but do not get any concrete answers as to how this invasion into my life is happening and what will stop it... Police and lawyers cannot be bothered by it... AT&T told me I could put my plan on hold... while i get a prepaid phone to use... Will the sim card in this old sprint samsung allow me to buy minutes on like Tmobile if I get it unlocked ? Again Thank you... Cassandra

Answer
The person who is stalking you is likely using an application that you have loaded onto your iPhone to do this. There are many applications that let you track your "friends" and their locations using GPS and this is likely what this person is doing. You don't have to be on the phone in order for them to do this, only your phone has to be on. Check your applications for any that use GPS for tracking and remove them right away. This will prevent that person from being able to track you. Since you changed your phone number, if you feel confident that this person doesn't know your new number, then they likely will no longer be able to track you. The SIM card has nothing to do with this. You definitely do not need a prepaid SIM or phone or anything else so I wouldn't even bother with any of this. This stalking is being done solely through an application that uses GPS and I guarantee you that. Has that person stalked you again since your number was changed?
