Question
Hello,

I have been trying to figure out how to reset a Verizon Motorola w385 for almost a month now and have had not luck. I am giving the phone to cousin so she does not need any information kept, not even the Verizon programming.

Thanks,
Jeremy

Answer
You can't reset the Verizon programming. You can delete all your info and then if the phone is clear with Verizon, meaning that you have moved to a new phone with Verizon, then the ESN is clear and she can reactivate with Verizon. She can't use it with another carrier unless she has it flashed to another carrier. You can't do that for her.
