hi debin i have a samsung galaxy y phone which is almost new ....im  not able to acces facebook chat on it i tried a lot i also went to the customer care people and samsung store they said they dint know how 2 do it...! can u pls help me...???

I might recommend that you reload Facebook on your Galaxy. I have a Samsung and just went into the Facebook app, clicked on News Feed, see the other options, clicked on Chat and then saw the people on my list who are available on Chat and was able to Chat with a friend. There wouldn't be anything on your phone that would prohibit this, so I recommend just reloading Facebook. Make sure you have the latest release of it for the Android. Let me know.
