Please explain me if any software is required or not and how to make it work and hence send the songs..!

Answer
Your computer is assuming that the Galaxy is an external drive and you are correct, that is the issue. What you need is for the computer to recognize it the way it does a camera so that it can get your pictures. For that, you need software. Did your Galaxy come with software to load onto your computer? If it did, the load the software. If it didn't, go to the Samsung site and see if you can find the software that is compatible with your Galaxy and your wireless carrier and then load the software. Your computer likely didn't recognize the device and plug and play like it can with some printers, etc. That is why you need the software first and then you should be able to download the music, pictures, etc. Hope this helps.
