Cellular Phones/Selling a cell phone, contract

Question
Hi
I have two cell carrier contracts. Neither are delinquent and I'm simply letting one run out for very little money per month while I use the other as my primary, with a different carrier.

The phone, a a first generation Blackberry Storm, was bought with company #1 (Bell Mobility), which I would like to sell.

Several months ago I 'decommissioned' the Storm from the Bell contract and added my old Bb Curve to it instead so the boyfriend could use it as an emergency device. So, currently, the Storm is just sitting around connected to nothing.

Can I simply sell the Storm now, while it's worth something, or is the phone worthless until the contract runs out, which is another year?

thanks
tanya

Answer
Tanya, you can sell the storm anytime you wish.  make sure that Bell Mobility has changed the serial number on your account to the older blackberry curve and cleared the blackberry pin from the account.  otherwise whoever you sell it to will be unable to use it for email.  hope this helps.
