Question
My wife bought a virgin mobile prepaid phone from a flea market. When we tried to activate it thay said it was still blocked by the store Best Buy.I took it to the store and thay said thay couldn't do anything to help us.The phone is a Samsung Intercept, model# SPH-M910.

Answer
Unfortunately, the phone isn't going to do you much good because it is not "clear", i.e., it is associated with whomever bought it in the first place. Before they gave or sold it to the flea market, they should have cleared it with Virgin Mobile, which they didn't. Virgin or Best Buy will not activate a phone that isn't clear. I hope you didn't pay too much money for it, because it's now just a brick. Sorry that I didn't have better news for you. I would recommend only buying a CDMA phone (Virgin, Sprint, Verizon) directly from the carrier or Indirect channel like Best Buy. It's well with it when it comes to phones.
