Question
In 2007 did the BlackBerry 8703e automatically change to daylight savings time if the owner did not set the clock to daylight time? Also, if the phone was not manually set to daylight time, and did not self-adjust, did the Verizon billing statement show daylight time or non-daylight time?
All BlackBerrys will automatically change the time based on the network (so yes, they will adjust for daylight's savings time). The issue is that you have the device set for not using the network time. If you change it to use the network time versus where you put in the time yourself, then it will adjust. Your Verizon invoice shows the network time and doesn't care what time you have set on the device. It's all based on the Greenwich Mean Time and is exact and not related to how you program your phone. Hope this helps.
