Question
hi i want to get the htc evo 4g from sprint and fully flash to cricket. im just not sure if everything will work.they say when there fully flashed pic messaging, internet and wifi should all work. evn the android market. i asked a cricket flash place and they said sometimes they will unflash themselves and not work and another person said you just have to find someone that knows how to flash good because the phone needs the right drivers. i just wanted to know if everything on the phone will work once its flashed before i buy the phone

Answer
What you were told was absolutely correct. When the phone is flashed, it will need to be flashed correctly and if there are not the proper drivers for the phone to work with Cricket, it will not work properly. Before you go this route, ask the Cricket person if they have the proper image to flash an HTC EVO 4G and if they say they do, then go for it. If they don't, then don't waste your money. A phone can't unflash itself. What sometimes happens is that people reset the phone and if you do that, it will mess up the phone. Keep in mind that Cricket doesn't have a 4G network, so it's kind of a waste to use this phone on Cricket, but that's your choice of course. I hope this helps.
