Question
QUESTION: My brothers phone goes directly to voice mail and never rings..my brother needs his phone as he is in the last stages of cancer and needs to be reachable...how can we fix this??   Thank you in advance.

ANSWER: If the phone goes right to voice mail, that means that he has no minutes left. Tracfone is letting him still get messages for a period of time before they shut off the service, but when you have a prepaid or third party like Tracfone plan, when you run out of minutes or haven't paid the bill, then the calls go straight to voice mail. I hope this helps.

QUESTION: Although this may be true to some phones, it is not to this particular one.
He has almost 300 minutes remaining and it still does that!

Answer
If it goes straight to voice mail and he has minutes remaining, then either the phone was set to go sraight to voice mail by him or he is in an area without service or lastly, that the radio antenna of his phone is damaged and he can't receive calls. Those are the only reasons that it would go straight to voice mail (fortunately). Hope this helps.
