Question
I bought a phone from de US. I did not know that it was CDMA handset. I was wondering if a CDMA handset from de US would work with a CDMA service provider in INDIA. If not is dre is a possible way to convert the handset to GSM.! Plz help me out.

Answer
A CDMA phone from the US will not work in India. These devices only work on US CDMA bands. Many that are quad band work on US bands on the CDMA network and GSM outside the US. There are no US phones that work on CDMA outside of the US. I hope you are can return the phone. It won't work for you, unfortunately.
