Question Hi i have a question concerning my service with at&t. I recently bought a $200.00 touch screen through wall mart. It came with a month to month pay plan. It has great service in Plattsburgh as well as Champlain but when I drive past Malone to visit my girlfriend in Potsdam I lose complete service... When I tried to reset my phone and connect to service, it mentioned something about my sims card. I was wondering if you could help me out? It is a hassle not having service while I'm up visiting her, and i have no contact with any of my friends or family back at home. If you could help me please it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time, I look forward to hearing back from you with a response.
sincerely Mark
Answer My apologies for the delay in responding.
When you get to Postdam, the reason you don't have service is because that area is an issue with AT&T either while you were there (temporarily) or it just may be an area that is a little too far away from a tower to get you a good signal. Please don't reset your phone. That is unnecessary and will not solve the problem. Whenever you have issues with signal, you do not need to do anything with your phone. What I would recommend is to call AT&T and have them check that area to see if there is an issue right now or if it is just an area that they don't have good coverage and ask if there are plans to improve the signal in that area. I hope this helps and I wish you the best.
