Cellular Phones/Samsung Galaxy S sound problem

Question
I bought a Samsung Galaxy S a few months ago and it was working just fine.i had dropped it once on the floor , but not from a very high level and i suppose that should not damage it.After a few weeks, its sound was mysteriously gone, whether calling someone or listening to a song or playing a game. Can someone please tell me why is it happening and suggest me a good solution?

Thanks...:)

Answer
It's likely that either when it dropped or at another time, the sounds may have gotten changed or turned off. Go into the Settings and check the sound to see what it is set on and also double check the side buttons to move them all the way up. It is possible when you dropped it that something came lose. If you can't find anywhere in the phone where the sounds are turned off, then I would suggest taking it to your carrier to see if they can fix it. It's likely then that something just came loose. Hope this helps.
