QUESTION: But the nokia N9 battery is not like other phone which you can simply remove by opening the back case.....its already built in

Answer
Sherman -

You are correct, Sherman. Like original iPhones, this device has a battery that can only be removed by an authorized service agent for Nokia. Yes, the battery can be replaced, but you would want to take it back to your carrier or where you got it to have the battery replaced when and if it needs to be. This battery should last you a minimum of 2 years with normal use. There are places that sell the batteries, but you would have a hard time trying to take apart the phone to remove it. I would suggest when and if you need to repalce the battery to take it in to be replaced. It can be replaced. You will not need to discard the phone when the battery goes, just replace it. Thanks.
